Balasingham) by B. John Vasanthabalan and her grandchildren. And also remembrance of all their late grate grandparents and our Jaffna dynasty. Mine out of ten of these young people live in developing countries. A billion of them will need jobs in the next decade. More importantly, the majority of the developing world’s poor are children and youth. Although significant progress has been made in reducing income poverty worldwide the fact remains that most of the outcomes directly targeting the young are not likely to be met unless greater attention is paid to the next generation. Sri Lanka is one of the developing countries and the government has largest lender for education and health in the country for two sectors most directly related to children and youth outcomes. Moreover, it has contributed significantly to addressing the issues of poverty, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, social protection and social development, all sectors affecting the lives of young people. Now we build on this experience and respond a clear message to the future youngest generations by providing a quality public education and skill experience to meet their challenges for the new millennium. Vision of our Senior Citizens Some children are not looking after the parents in their final age, and also send them to orphanages “Fortune Life h2h Foundation” will join the orphanages to celebrate all their birthdays, anniversaries and all celebrating dates like Christmas, New Year etc. Vision of our Environments “Fortune Life h2h Foundation” will play a main role in educating of our environment. Environment plays an important role in healthy living and the existence of life on planet earth. Earth is a home for different living species and we all are dependent on the environment for food, air, water, and other needs. Therefore, it is important for every individual to save and protect our environment. The word “Charity” entered the English language through the old French word “Charite” which was derived from the Latin “Caritas”. Originally in Latin the word caritas meant preciousness, dearness, high price. From this in Christian theology, caritas become the standard Latin translation for the Greek word “Agape”, meaning an unlimited loving-kindness to all others, such as the love of God. This much wider concept is the meaning of the word “Charity” in Christian triplet “Faith, Hope & Charity”. St. Paul’s agape was specifically not primarily about good works and giving to the poor. (And though I feed the poor with all my goods, and though I give my body, that I be burned, and have not love [agape], it profiteth me nothing – 1 Cor 13:3,) Almsgiving, the act or giving money, goods or time to the unfortunate, either directly or by means of a charitable trust or worthy cause, is described as charity or charitable giving. The poor, particularly widows and orphans, and the sick and disable, are generally regards as the proper objects of almsgiving. Originally almsgiving entailed the benefactor directly giving the goods to the receiver. People who could not support themselves or who feigned such inability would become beggars. Donations to causes that would benefit the unfortunate indirectly, as donations to cancer research hope to benefit cancer, are also charity. The name stems from the most obvious expression of the virtue of charity is giving the objects of it the means they need to survive. Most forms of charity are concerned with providing food, water, clothing and shelter, and tending the ill, but other actions may be performed as charity: visiting imprisoned or the homebound, dowries for poor women, ransoming captives & educating orphans. Institutions evolved to carry out the labour of assisting the poor, and these institutions are called charities. These include orphanages, food banks, religious order dedicated to care of the poor, hospitals, organizations that visit the homebound and imprisoned, and many others. Such institutions allow those whose talents do not lend themselves to caring for the poor to enable to do so, both by providing an also attempt to more effective sort out to actually needy from those who fraudulently claim charity. In Sunni Islam this is called “Zakat”, and is one of the five pillars upon which the Muslim religion is based. Charity is also used as a forename, intended to evoke the idea that one so names is a giving person.
